The BriefFranks the Flooring Store had noted that they’d seen a significant increase in footfall when the commercial we produced for them in 2014 was re-aired. That ad featured their Area Manager, Wayne taking us behind the curtain to see the huge warehouse. The brief was to create an updated and fresh version of this commercial.
Our ResponseWe noted that it had been 20 years since Franks had first opened its doors. This is hugely significant as Franks is a trusted brand in the North East of England, so we thought it was essential to mark that in this advert. We suggested that we used a snippet from the first ever Franks TV commercial and themed it around how although things on the surface had changed, their core values of always providing the best prices remained the same.
The campaign is ongoing. Early results have been good, with stores seeing increased footfall relative to commercial air times.
Once again we didn't hesitate to go to YourFilm to produce our new TV commercial. We were really pleased with the final outcome and as ever, the process was collaborative and smooth.
